Filleadh: Sacred Songs (2013)

$15.00

Filleadh means to go out, but also to come back. It implies a retracing of a path already walked, a return. Since moving to America at the start of 2012, we have been challenged and inspired to return to our heritage, and to come back to the story and music that brought us to where we are today.

We recorded Filleadh in January 2013 in Glenstal Abbey, County Limerick. This place has been a second home to us throughout our lives. As kids we ran around and chased each other, causing havoc; later we both attended the Glenstal boarding school for six years. Our parents recorded three albums with the Glenstal monks in the 1980’s that mixed Gregorian chant and other ancient hymns with Irish traditional song. Filleadh does much the same almost thirty years later.

$15.00

This is our second album with our mother, the eminent singer and musicologist, Nóirín Ní Riain PhD. We have been singing and performing with her for almost a decade now. This album, recorded in Glenstal Abbey, Morroe, County Limerick is a great album mixing Irish language chant, with medieval Gregorian chant and some english language hymns. Its a pleasure to offer this album through this website, thanks for reading!

Size2shoes (2008)

$15.00

This is our first album, recorded in our home in Ireland. Featuring a string quartet, saxaphone, and harmonica the album is a dough eyed and innocent song cycle. This is a highly significant album for us, not only because it is our debut, but also because of certain moments on the album which made it certain we were to continue singing songs...This is a cool kids album especially!
